Blog Quest #2: Pivotal Scene Drawings

Fire on the Mountain Scene:

In this scene Piggy, Ralph, Jack, the littlluns and the hunters go to the mountain and starty a fire, later a very important symbol in the book. Jack takes piggys glasses very agresivly and starts the fire. Ralph get's the idea from Piggy to start the fire, the littlluns find out that Jack was the first one to leave the meeting and they ran after him leaving Ralph and Piggy behind, Which they later find on the mountain and they start the fire once the littlluns and Jack get to the top.

Ralph finds Piggy in the forest:

In this scene Ralph finds Piggy a very fat boy that wears glasses and happens to later come up with all of the ideas to keep the civilization alive and at least a little healthy. Piggy is the brains of the civilization because neither Ralph or Jack or the littleluns or the hunters think of anything to keep them alive. I guess you would also say that Simon one of the hunters from Jacks choir helps Piggy construct and help make all of piggys ideas real and true. But well after Ralph finds Piggy they run into a laggon were they take a swim and then Ralph finds a shell which is later called a conch and symbolises orginization and peace between all of the boys on the island. Although Ralph becomes a leader he tries to find a way to keep everyone together.

Blog 7 "Chapter 7: Shadows and Tall Trees"

I was being covert by so many people they were hurting me and I was barely weeping it hurt but that’s the game was hurtful and harmful. It felt like this game was infinite it would never end and I was getting hurt. I was snivel and I couldn't take much of this anymore, until they finally stopped throwing spears and sticks at me. They were being uncompromising because I really wanted them to stop; didn't they feel the pain that I was suffering I was getting hurt and they didn't even care. I know they will pay though they will and soon. I was infuriated with Jack and the rest of the Hunters they let these wounds that they made to me happen, I know that the hunters just follow Jack because they think Ralph might die here one day and Jack might take over and if we are all scared of him. Piggy has always is sagely, he is the brains of the foundation of the huts and ideas behind the fire on the mountain and how to start it. He is helpful but can really sometimes be a pain for everyone, he can be annoying. There was a blunder with everyone once we climbed the rock and explored to find the pig and if we see beastie there Jack said we would kill the pig. The whole purpose of climbing was to find the beastie, but instead we have been trying to kill the pig and Ralph hit the pig in the nostrils which is gross although I know now things are going to change. Simon has lost faith in the beastie and probably thinks that he's not real and is fake. But well all of us think that he might be fake but not me I think you should be aware of everything that's happening around us. So for that reason I think that no one should lose faith in the beastie the littleluns have seen it but you never know about the biguns because maybe one of us has been there with the littleluns and they haven’t confessed that they really know about the beastie. Well so far the pig is wounded and we don’t know if either Ralph or Jack hit it, all I know is that Ralph hit it but a lot of people day that Jack wounded it and I just don’t get it. All I know so far though is that we were supposed to be hunting and killing the beastie and really knowing what it looked like but what happened in the end was that we had been finding and tracking down the pig instead and know it’s very annoying that they wanted to almost kill me, but now that I think about it. At least I’m not dead and at least I might get rescued soon and not die in this island alone cold and later people come back and find my body dead and then make a funeral for me. I want to be rescued and I know that Ralph’s leadership will be better and he will make good decisions later, because most of the hunters know that Jack can be someone who can loose his temper and go off, and if you don’t pay attention to what he wants us to do he might even kill you and none of the hunters including me doubt that. We all believe it’s true and it will one day happen and we don’t want to be stick with that kind of chief, but if we don’t go the ways of Jack he will later want revenge of us and he will kill us even worse and maybe even capture us and ten hang us from the tallest pole and have us die there and leave us so that whoever finds us can later give us a proper funeral, not like the one Jack gave us.

Blog Quest: Interview

"Hi Ralph"

"Hi Karen"

"So, Ralph you play someone who is a leader in the book Lord of the Flies, don't you?"

"Yes I do and I am also the person who's kind of in the middle of Jack and Piggy and a little of Simon"

"So Ralph what has happened in this book that moved your life?"

"Well Karen there are a lot of things, for say how far are you in the book?"

"I'm only on chapter 5, but I'll finish the book to get to know more"

"Well so far you've heard that I'm a little behind on my leadership with the littleluns and the biguns"

"Well, yes but we also know that you try to keep both sides of the littleluns and the biguns evenly, and thats something very important"

"Well of course it is but I think that later you might figure something out of my leadership"

"I bet I will Ralph"

"But well tell me more about yourself"

"Well i've tried to have Jack be carfull and not bother piggy to much, but it's really hard it sound like he doesn't even want to be rescued!"

"Well, I think that it is a big deal to be rescued from the island for all of you"

"It really is, but most of the time the hunters agree with jack because they think he has most of the reason, like you read before Jack and the hunters went hunting they let the fire out and instead of leaving the fire on they go hunting which they did bring food back but the problem was that there was a ship and the fire was out"

"I think that it isn't fare for the rest of you to suffer because of Jack's problems, but I also think that Jack was trying to just look like a hero because remember he did want to be chief and what happened you got elected and won and because of that i think jack wants to just get attention from other people."

" You do have a point Karen, but obviously i got elected so he should accept he lost fare and square and that we can't change the past"

"With that i must agree Ralph because everyone voted and the problem was i think he made to big of and impression on the littleluns, so they choose you because they were scared of Jack"

"I have to say Karen that's right too"

"So what else can you tell us about yourself Ralph?"

"Well, I try to do my best as chief and I think I've grown as a chief and friend to those who didn't know me before this"

"I must say I agree with you again, you've got many points about yourself Ralph"

“Thank you”

“So can you tell us Ralph more about this beastie the littleluns talk about?”

“Yeah, there are many things that I can tell you for one thing there is one littlelun that has seen this beastie person, but it’s only been him, the other thing is that me and Jack as far as you are reading Jack said that he had explored most of the island, except the rocky place”

“Right that’s were I am”

“Well I don’t want to give it away, but yes we do go explore there and there are a bunch of creatures and thing you have to read about on your own”

“Alright well I hope we get to talk to you later Ralph”

“Yeah next time we will”

Blog 5 "Chapter 5: Beast from Water"

There were tears running down her cheek, she was alone in what looked like a dead sea. All around her were small streams of water. They looked like a green with a black color; her tears were hitting the ground so hard that they almost turned a dark color. Her eyes were blue, her eyelashes were long, and she tried to keep walking. But she fainted and cried, the air was humid and cold. The sun was gone and it looked like it would never come back, it wouldn’t rain and there was nothing to eat and she was still sore and endlessly in pain. The ground was blue because of the sea before and the coral that had been in the sea although it was dried up she kept insisting that she would once again come to her senses. Meaning it was gone forever, only until there could be water with the coral again. There were no trees but only the remainder of the dead ocean, her heart was barely beating and her mind was off and her eyes were know closed. She was like in an invisible bubble were the only one was her and the only person that could go inside her bubble was her. Her bubble was filled with air and was hafly filled in with water because of the small streams of thick ugly water that surrounded her. Her clothes were ruined and filthy; her skin was dry because of the humid air. But know the only thing she could think about was her family and if she would ever get back to them safe and alive and together again. She resisted so many of these mindless things that happened to her, but with great brief she tried to resist so much. She hadn’t eaten in days, her pain grew every day, the only hope she had was to find a way out of this misery and endless pain and the only way was to try to relax and try to dream as if she was with her family having fun at the beach. Then she thought about memories that appeared to her as if she had been dreaming, she saw herself loving nature and seeing the ocean once again with water and the sun almost peeling and burning her skin, but she could see herself smiling because she liked looking at the ocean and seeing it once again come to her with its roar. It's like if the ocean called to her, telling her to swim and have fun. The coral was still dry her face was pale; she kept feeling weak and wasn’t feeling good. Her every step was as if she was stepping on pointy rocks and her hair was tangled. Every time, and every day she would get the same dream and yet her dream wasn’t fulfilled. But to her, her home was the ocean and she knew that the existence to that place would come again, and she would be sad no more.

Blog 4 "Chapter 4: Painted Faces and Long Hair"

Jack was off and said he would take care of the fire, him and his hunters and so they were off. The problem was that he didn’t he came back with a dead pig. But let me just explain to you how this all started, and how the biggest rescue went by us. Well malevolent Jack had told me that he and his so called hunters were going to keep the fire going. But from my sources after a while Jack had left the fire and so did his hunters and them left and got clay. They painted there faces with fruit and leaves they, it turned out they were actually off putting on their preposterous makeup they forgot about the fire, and Simon was gyrating until then he saw a ship go by and when I turned to look at the fire there was no smoke coming out and from that point on they had gotten in big trouble with the chief. Know they had come back with a dead pig, Jack said he had cut the pigs throat and he looked like he really wanted to take the credit and leave his hunters without any credit. Turns out I didn’t care about the pig, I cared about how or when we were going to be rescued and the chance just flew us by all because Jack wanted to be a hero and take a little of my attention. The irrelevance he had showed was so noticeable, although after that he looked at me and his opalescence apology didn’t look like he really cared about anyone other than himself. Although his incredulous hunters didn’t even look like they cared about what Jack had said. While this implication between me and Jack was going on Piggy looked like he was daydreaming of into a mirage. It looked like these two boys were whimpering while our discussion was going on although nobody really paid any attention. The shrill that was going on between these boys that looked like they really missed their family. But after when these events acquired the problem was that they all had problems with missing their parents. But when they talked over a lot of the problems on the island, I was still disappointed with Jack on how the fire on the mountain was off, and there was no smoke and the ship had left the horizon and now no one would be able to see the ship again. Know our only chance of survival had been less and less everyday. Know what we are going to do, our chances just slipped by because of Jack and his hunters, and know they just have there own club of people that hate the chances that had been accounted for. But know I know that sooner or later the ship might come back and we might have the right to see our parents again and return to a place were there is civilization and our parents that we’ve known for a long time.

Blog 3 "Chapter 3: Huts on the Beach"

I was hunting and saw the pigs festoon tracks they felt like each time I stepped on a barb had hit my heart so it sank deep it felt like the blood from my heart trying to pump it out was leaking from the barb that had been pressed against my heart. When I finally thought I was close enough the pig ran away and yelled to its little children to run away, until when I got to the beach again I felt like an idiot for not bringing anything back to eat when they were expecting something to eat. When I got to the beach Ralph the new chief had asked me what had happened, I told him I was about to kill that pig. But when I got to the part were I was about to get him the look on his face was the last look I wanted to get from someone who didn’t appreciate what I had tried to kill. I furtively knew that I would one day become enemies with the so called chief that’s why I called my singing choir the hunters, they are fierce and anyway Simon had already told me about his secret on the other side of the beach. Ralph probably thought I was being flaunt when I told him about how I was going to kill the pig, but didn’t. I felt like I was being inscrutable and a little crazy for telling him the exact details about the pig. I was bewildered when I saw Simon was gone and I had just seen him help piggy with the huts, but then I remembered about the secret he had told me about. When Ralph asked about Simon I looked oppressive so he wouldn’t go anywhere, but he didn’t even look at me because he was so mad at me for not bringing back any food. When Ralph went out looking for Simon I was right behind him trying to stop him but then when we got to the beach, Ralph’s eyes glimmered with excitement. He saw that there was Simon and it looked like he was already finished doing his hut but not even the rest. I was happy for Simon but know they had found out our secret about me and Simon. When Ralph turned around he asked me if he knew anything about this I told him I didn’t although I had the guilty look on my face I was tendril with fear. I still stood there after he had turned around, he bought my guilty face but that didn’t mean he didn’t believe me in the inside maybe he would do something to get me back later I always thought there was something suspicious about Ralph. There was just something about piggy that made me tick, that maybe he would grow out of his self and one day strike back with Ralph, because in the inside I knew there was an evil me I just never knew I would reveal myself good enough for them to ever get me back.

Blog 2 "Chapter 2: Fire on the Mountain (Revision)"

When the fire on the mountain we had made warped and became fire and was surrounding the entire island. I felt very scornfully when Jack yelled at me, it wasn’t my fault because I hadn't done anything and already jack was yelling at me and everyone was staring at me. I hated being stared. Everybody already knew the dreadful name I didn't want to be called and know I'm going to be called that way for a long time. By the time I was at in the forest the tumult of little children that were on the mountain was over. I was nimble once everyone came back from the mountain and found out that the fire was burning and was having smoke come up from the Volcano. Sometimes I felt Jack felt very irresistible once he had the power to be at Ralps side since he was the chief. When I wanted to state my perspective of this incident that had occurred everyone turned to look at me as if I was the person in charge of having the fire on the mountain, my idea. I bet Ralph inside was officious about me telling him that I kept having the conch and that I wanted to speak. I know that Jack doesn't like me but he really should give me a chance, I mean he just judges me by my name. I knew I should have never told Ralph the name I had always hated being called. But I know that one day something will happen, because I haven't shown the other side of me. I don’t blame everything on Jack or Ralph or even the little children. But the problem is that Jack doesn’t like me, Ralph wants to look good with everyone and doesn’t give me a chance to explain, everything I try to say. They just look at me because of what I look like and what they call me, I bet if they called me a different name I might be known as someone better. But most of the time I have to be called Piggy. I think that sometimes my real friends are the little children, because they are the first ones I met and they like me for who I am. I think that sometimes Ralph can help me with the situation that I am in; I think he should take actions for his own responsibilities if only I can try to have him think like I do. I also think that Jack should try to help other people other than his choir group, I also thought about ho he named his troops hunters and the little children don’t get a name. I mean not like they know they can have one I’m just saying what if they do want one. I think it would be nice if they did. When I think about how Ralph as a leader isn’t really doing much it makes me think about how his leadership in this island as chief doesn’t fit the guy that I met in the forest before he even blew the conch.
